Just like the gang from Atomik Komix in Crankshaft last week, I made my apparently annual pilgrimage to San Diego Comic-Con this past week as well. Even without the Hollywood presence this year, the place was still packed, and it remains one of the few places where you can be walking along and see Spider-Man checking his cell phone. Touching bases with your roots at the Big One never really gets old even as the Silver Age presence continues to dwindle.
Comic-Con isn’t nicknamed “Line-Con” for nothing. This year a lot of people waited in line for programs only to find that tix for the seating had already been given away online. It pays to be savvy I guess.
