Akron Comicon 2025

So, obviously, I spent last weekend at the Akron Comicon, and as always it was a ton of fun. Part of what makes it fun is the fact that my son Brian helps me man the Funkyverse table, which affords me the opportunity to geek out and wander the Con as a fan. It was great to see old friends and check out some of the cool outsider projects a la the great Golden Age outsider Fletcher Hanks. The Con is a wonderful way to recharge the batteries and touch base with my roots. Not to mention signing copies of the just out Volume 15 of The Complete Funky Winkerbean. If you haven’t been to a  comic con lately, you owe it to yourself to check one out.
