Barnes & Noble

I recently did a signing at the opening of a new Barnes & Noble bookstore. You read that right… a new bookstore. These days when it seems as if books are about to join the endangered species list, a new bookstore sighting is welcome indeed. The largeness of this new store is offset by the cozy labyrinthian layout, that creates little nook and crannies everywhere which is somehow much more attractive than a single long row of books. And this isn’t just a one-off. Apparently B&N is doing this around the country. So hats off to B&N from someone who still enjoys the comfortable feeling of a book in hand.
