Cover Me 159

This Norman Rockwell painting from the Four Freedoms quatrain has been a favorite work to homage on comic book covers since forever. I even used it myself once in a John Darling strip. I reason did it was because a print of it was on the wall in my sixth grade geography classroom.

Only one other painting (and I’m ballparking here) has been used more. I’ll show you that one on the next Cover Me.
