Cover Me 231

Oct 7, 2023

They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but in this particular case you certainly can. Writer Jim Zub, artist Roberto De La Torre and colorist Jose Villarrubia have managed to return Conan to his comic book roots. Like the cover, the art is a striking blend that looks like John Buscema crossed with Joe Kubert. My winter project is to reread the Marvel Conans, but it will be fun to have this terrific new work to enjoy as I do that.
