Elliott Bay

Nov 20, 2017

Scenes from on the road at the beautiful Elliott Bay bookstore in Seattle. It warms my heart to see big wonderful bookstores like this.

One of the people who showed up brought a bunch of the old Funky books that Tempo published way back when. Had to dust off my chops with drawing the original characters to sign those books. I also spent almost an entire Saturday at the Seattle Art Museum’s Andrew Wyeth Retrospective. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday unless it’s working in my own studio at the cartoonist fortress of solitude.
