Funky and the President – The Story Behind the Story
The Funky strips running this week make use of a photo of Funky and President Clinton together. It occurred to me that some readers may be wondering how that photo came about. It was from a story arc from way back in 1993 wherein Harry L. Dinkle, the world’s greatest band director, invited then President Clinton to come play his saxophone at a band fund-raiser and… well, rather than tell you about it, I’ll just post the strips this week and next and let you read it for yourself.
