Funky Winkerbean 5k 2019

Mother Nature smiled upon the Funky Winkerbean 5k in Mentor, Ohio last Saturday and we had weather that couldn’t have been more ideal for the run.

The proceeds from the run go to the Lisa’s Legacy Fund at University Hospitals in Cleveland, and the winners in the top three age groups got a cool print of one of the Lisa’s Legacy Run Sunday strips from Funky along with their medal.

Putting on a 5k run like this isn’t easy, and I’d like to thank the Mentor Rotary for all of the dedication and hard work that they put into the event.

All in all we had a great time and the Mentor Rotary’s dedication to the Lisa’s Legacy fund will insure that Lisa continues to reach out and do some real world good for cancer patients and their families.
