I thought that it might be a good time to restate the premise of what I’m doing here. John Darling was a strip that I did from 1989 to 1990. It was about a television talk show host, and was a spin-off from Funky Winkerbean. The Darling strip was a satire on various television tropes, most of which, for better or for worse, continue on to this day. Since there was only one small paperback collection of the strip, I thought it would be fun to represent some of those strips here in my blog. Hence, a John Darling Sunday strip every Sunday.
