Match to Flame – 49

Almost before we knew it, we had a strip in syndication that was now being called John Darling (after discovering that a soap opera magazine had copyrighted the name Darling) and the multiverse was born. One of the fun things about having a strip that was a spin-off of Funky was the fact that we could do crossovers between the two strips. (We did do a couple of crossovers, and, when those come along, we’ll run the appropriate strips from John Darling in these volumes as well to ensure that those of you with OCD don’t get the yips or anything.)
