Meanwhile, back in the strip, Les Moore’s angst-filled journey continued on its not so merry way as the leader of the school’s out crowd. He soldiered on at his hall monitor’s post, tried to avoid getting beaten up by Bull Bushka, and generally dealt with the vicissitudes of school life as best he could. He probably achieved the height of ignominy by getting stuck up on the gym class rope and having to remain there during the homecoming dance.
