OMEA 2023

Last weekend I found myself back at the Ohio Music Educators Conference after a long couple of years absence. It felt really good to be back. My band director Harry has created some  strong bonds and friendships over the years, but none greater than with the band directors here in Ohio. It was nice to be signing books and chatting with old friends again, and I came home with a list of people who needed the books that they’d missed during Covid. All in all, it was like coming home again. They say you can’t do that, but just maybe,  sometimes you can.
