We’re less than a month away from the Mentor Rotary’s Funky Winkerbean 5K on Sunday October 21st benefitting the Lisa’s Legacy Fund. Several years back the Mentor Rotary took the Lisa’s Legacy Run under their wing and truly made it their own. It’s undergone a minor rebranding, but the most important thing is that the proceeds are still going to the Lisa’s Legacy Fund at University Hospitals in Cleveland. In fact, last year they tripled the number of runners involved and doubled the amount given to the fund. It’s a fun walk/run put on by terrific people for a good cause, and it doesn’t get much better than that.
