I’m going to be doing a book signing on May 1st on the Kent State campus at the university bookstore for Volume 13 of The Complete Funky Winkerbean. While I’m there, I’m planning to stop by the May 4th Visitors Center. As part of their display, they’re presenting the work of Chuck Ayers the former artist on Crankshaft. They’ll be showing some of his editorial cartoons about events of May 4th, as well as a story arc that we did in Crankshaft. If you come for the book signing, it’s definitely worth your time to visit the May 4th Visitors Center, especially in light of the campus protests taking place today.
