Thurber House Event
With the publication of the Lisa’s Legacy Trilogy and the new books Prelude and The Last Leaf, it’s time to talk about the special event being hosted by Thurber House at the Columbus Museum of Art on Wednesday, September 27th. Thurber House is a literary center for readers and writers in Columbus, Ohio, in the historic former home of author and New Yorker cartoonist James Thurber. On the night of the book launch at the museum, I’ll be meeting, greeting, talking and signing books with Funky’s readers. It’s hard to believe that it’s been ten years since the publication of Lisa’s Story, and this promises to be great way to commemorate that anniversary.
In anticipation of the event at the museum, strips featuring key moments from Lisa’s Story have been on display at Thurber House over the summer. Here are a couple of pics from that exhibit.
