John Darling – Take 438
This is one of those you sorta had to be there strips. Back in 1988 at the winter Olympics, a British ski jumper nicknamed Eddie the Eagle, managed to charm the public while managing to finish dead last. Hence this strip. And now you know the rest of the story.
