Okay, if this isn’t a world record, it’s certainly a personal best for me to make three posts in one day, so I’ll be looking for my gold medal in the mail any day now. On the lighter side, I’ve received a number of comments and questions about the July 15th jungle Sunday concerning just who was who. So here are the definitive answers: from left to right the jungle action heroes are Congo Bill, Jann of the jungle, Bomba, Tarzan, Ramar, Bwana Beast, Sheena, Jungle Jim, The Phantom and Lorna the Jungle Girl… AND the one everyone missed… on the branch above Tarzan, the two monkeys crawling up the branch from the Jungle Comics logo. If you got ’em all, give yourself a nice pat on the back. Your jungle acumen is is first rank.
The hallucination solution which allowed me to homage all of these characters was actually suggested by one of my fellow climbers, Dan Messina, during our climb Kilimanjaro. Or was that just a hallucination? Cheers.
