John Darling – Take 24

The accident at Three Mile Island dominated the news at the time and, along with a long running series in Funky Winkerbean about the dicey Perkins Point Nuclear Reactor, it also became fodder for the newsies in John Darling. I probably would have used it in Crankshaft as well, but Crankshaft was, as the say, was still on the drawing board.
