In John Darling’s second year Tom Armstrong and I got to tackle our first Winter Olympics. Somewhat ironically, the very fine sports strip Tank McNamara somehow overlooked the Winter Olympics entirely. I always pictured Tank’s creators kicking themselves when they saw John Darling there. At least I hope so.
